The selection process is stringent. It starts with students applying to Mukat Public School via a form with their details and list of academic and extra curricular activities, along with the report cards of the last 4 years and an affidavit of family income.
Thereafter the teachers of the school evaluate and shortlist the candidates. The final selection is done after an interview with Kyra and Sarah Pahwa.
Through the Pay It Forward fundraising initiatives, we have been able to sponsor the secondary and undergraduate education of deserving candidates who have shown academic excellence and an unwavering commitment to holistic growth. These candidates belong to the Mukat Public School in Rajpura in rural Punjab. They have gained admission to undergraduate programs of their choice, following their commendable academic performance in the final year of high school. By sponsoring their undergraduate education, we hope to support these children in their journey of achieving their academic and professional ambitions. Till date we have sponsored 9 students.
